Yes i have the USB to serial cable connection finally got the drivers installed 5 minutes ago. Thanks for moving the thread i hit submit too soon. I'd also suggest that you download and save the config for each individual radio before you change to narrow-band. The configuration files are really tiny, so do yourself a favor and save as whenever you make changes. There are also some good forums online, try RadioReference. Connect the next radio and you can just upload the same file EXCEPT that it will also copy any radio identifier if it's set and you use them. Change the setting for narrow banding, save the program and upload it back to the radio. There's a button to download the program from the radio, assuming they are already programmed but just not narrow banded. Connect one of the radios to the cable connected to the serial port. Basically, get the software installed on a system with a serial port or you'll need a serial to USB adapter. I program radios for the fire department, ours are HT's though. I know it is not rocket science, however, a little documentation or guidance would extremely help. I ordered all the items from motorola including the software, but of course there was no type of instruction guide.
